Now serving in his fourth term in Congress, Ron Klink represents the 4th District of Pennsylvania. His top priority continues to be creating jobs for 4th District residents and keeping Pennsylvania competitive in the ever changing global marketplace. The 4th Congressional District encompasses Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Westmoreland Counties. Prior to his election to Congress, Klink worked as a television anchorman for KDKA in Pittsburgh, PA

At the beginning of the 104th Congress, Klink was appointed to the Commerce Committee where he continues to serve. His subcommittee assignments include his appointment as Ranking Minority Member of Oversight and Investigation, which is responsible for oversight of agencies, departments and programs within jurisdiction of the full Commerce Committee, and for conducting investigations within those jurisdictions. He is also a member of the Telecommunications Trade and Consumer Protection subcommittee. For the current Congress, Klink has added the Energy and Power subcommittee to his list of subcommittee responsibilities.
