You will find on this CD...

• Information on the AUDIS project
• Information on HRTF measurements
• HRTF sets of 12 subjects (approx. 120 positions in space), which may be used for scientific, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use in any way is not allowed.
• HRTF set of the artificial head HMS II resp. HMS III (approx. 400 positions in space), which may be used for scientific, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use in any way is not allowed.
• Tools. You will find the following software in "/tools":
  • Interpolation of HRIRs and HRTFs (hrircon)
  • Graphical representation of HRIRs and HRTFs (gnuplot)
  • Convolution with monochannel WAVfiles (ola2wav)
  • Viewer for Postscript files (gsview)
• Information on the AUDIS consortium consisting of

• Demonstrations. This CD includes also some demonstrations. The only equipment you need to experience 3D sound examples, is a sound card, able to playback WAVfiles, in connection with headphones. Available demonstrations are the following:

  • 3D sound for driving simulation
