Landfill searched for body
Denver police spent Thursday combing a landfill north of Denver for the body of a 20-year-old Saudi Arabian college student who they believe was murdered.
Abdulaziz Al-Kohaji, the 20-year-old son of a high-ranking Middle East oil executive, has been missing since early January.

Blood supplies running low
State blood banks reported lower-than-average supplies of blood and platelets this month, and recent proposals to stiffen federal restrictions on donors based on where they've lived or vacationed have Colorado officials a little worried.
The Food and Drug Administration is considering a proposal by the American Red Cross to bar people from giving blood who have lived in France, Portugal or Ireland for 10 years - even if the time was non-consecutive.
