Do not list the STUDI/O card as the preferred
device. Be sure to check "Use preferred devices only."
PLEASE NOTE: Windows 95 B has a bug, where it has problems with too many sound cards in the system. Symptoms include not being able to use your soundblaster, getting 'sound card may be in use' errors, etc. Setting the multimedia control panel as shown will pretty much cut multimedia out of the picture, so you can use your audio programs. It's a workaround -- hey, we can't fix Microsoft's bugs! |

"Do not map through this device" must be
checked.
This setting keeps the multimedia system from grabbing a STUDI/O device, which will prevent it from being used in your audio editor. |

These are the optimal settings to use the
STUDI/O card. Using these settings will minimize
the risk of conflicts.
