Stephanie Berger
stays up late editing for new media. She expects her master's degree in mass communication from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in May 2001.

Her thesis explores the effects of competing online news story formats on user satisfaction, perceived story credibility, information recall, accuracy, and how much readers read of a story. As a teaching assistant, she helps Professor Mindy McAdams administer the course "Delivering the News Online."

Stephanie has worked for and She earned a B.A. in English from Stetson University in 1998, when people knew her as Stephanie Galfano. When she's not online or in touch with family and friends, she enjoys practicing piano, running and daydreaming.
