hey Leah,
i was wondering if you could help. i had bought a pump and the second time i used it the skin of my penis stayed swollen about three times the normal size. will the swelling go away or do i need to do something about it. it does not hurt i just looks weird. it is not hard it feels like jelly.
Please go to the doctor's--particularly a urologist. This is exactly
what I warned about in this past column: too much pressure can lead to local bleeding and swelling. The swelling would be soft at first but could harden up later as the blood clots scar down. Odds are you'll be fine, but this is NOT a part of the anatomy with which you want to play the odds. The doctor may have a treatment program to reduce the chance of deformity.
So get going to that urologist--and don't be worried, you won't be the first guy with this problem that he/she has seen!
