Knitting Around the Table

On Saturday's we have a group of men and women
who come
to knit and spin for most of the day. It's like an informal
workshop and a wonderful way to learn new skills, practice
your fiber art
and meet new people who share similar interests. |

knitting, crochet, fiber dyeing and many other ancient crafts.

| Gabrielle Ruskievicz will make those pesky button
holes for you! They are machine sewn and all you need to supply
is matching thread and one button to size the hole. Please
mark where you would like the the buttonholes placed on the
button band. |

A Brief History of Ancient
Pathways

Ancient Pathways started out merchanting at California
Renaissance Faire's and various Society
for Creative Anachronism events in 1991. In 1997 we
enlarged to a retail store in Fresno, CA and have been growing
ever since. The year 2001 marks our foray into putting a
catalog of our products on the Internet
Many people ask how we came up with the name Ancient Pathways.
It was one of those wake up in the middle of the night,
"I know the answer" kind of thing. Ancient because
we do medieval crafts and Pathways because by teaching people,
and by sharing our knowledge, we are opening a path to the
past.
