Welcome to the official web site for the Duluth band LowGreetings from Alan Sparhawk in Prague, 12 March 2001 greetings from europe, everyone. shows are going well. thank you to all who have been coming out. i hope now we won't offend anyone by anouncing that we are going to ask people to refrain from (or at least limit their) smoking at our shows. i don't know if it's the ventilation or what, but some of our recent shows have made it clear that the second hand smoke is becoming detrimental to our health and ability to perform. i hope you will understand. also, please don't make this an issue of contention at shows. it's already a little embarassing that people get in fights about being quiet. we appreciate that some of you are very protective of us, but don't jump all over someone if you see them smoking. people can do what they want at our shows - they paid to get in - we are just kindly asking. take care, and see you soon. -alan Greetings & news from Alan Sparhawk, March 2001 hello everyone. we're about to head off for europe, so i thought i should check in. it's been alot of work touring with hollis along, but it's been nice to see some of you at the shows. i'd like to thank starfire (the rock-n-roll nanny) for his help so far. if you havn't already, check out his on-line tour diary. the shows are going well - the biggest we've ever played. it's been a bit strange. some of you probably remember seeing us with 50 people in a small club not too long ago, so you may know what i'm talking about. we're excited about how the new record is doing, and it's been fun playing the new songs live.
