This is a fun spelling game, kind of a mix of Hangman spelling game and the classic Frogger game. You unlock the letters by helping the frogs cross the river to dock on the other side. When start, you can choose from total 36 different words related to plants or animals. Each word has six letters. You have six chances (six frogs) to unlock the six letters of the word.
By the way, make sure you know how to make the froggies do the Turbo Leap by using the RETURN key (see the How To Play).
How to Play :
Choose a category of the word (plants or animals) and pick a number. Each number refers to a different word that is related to plants or animals.
To help the froggy cross the river:
Regular Jump: use the UP arrow or the "i" key to jump forward (Note: the arrow key works in Netscape but not Internet Explorer);
Turbo Leap: hit the RETURN key to double the leap distance of the frog. (Yes, these superfroggies have some super-power.) This is useful in some situations when there are no logs or leaves within the distance of the regular jump, and is especially useful for the last frog.
There are logs and leaves floating on the river. The frog has to land on the log or leaves to be safe to cross the river. If he jumps into water, ... :( you'll drown him. And also, try to keep the frog within the stage. If you let it float outside the stage, you'll lose him (to the outer space). Losing one frog means losing one chance to unlock the letters.
If the frog can successfully jump onto one of the dock (the yellow squares on the riverbank) on the other side, a letter of will appear in that square, and the frog will turn green. Note: the position for the frog to jump onto the yellow square has to be pretty accurate, or it will be a dead frog lying on the riverbank!
If not all six frogs can successfully land on the other side, you will need to use your super-power to solve the secret word in order to bring all the frogs back home.
