Check out this independent review of LinuxPOS by Brian Walters in the March, 1999 edition of the Linux Journal. LinuxPOS, An Opportunity Waiting to Happen
LinuxPOS is a premier point of sale application and is now
installed in locations in Canada, United States and Australia.

Designed for low end systems (486/66 or better), LinuxPOS is written using a mixture of Tcl/Tk for the front end and C for some backend hardware code. The database was designed at Linux Canada Inc.
If you would like a copy of this outstanding POS application for evaluation purposes you may download a copy from our downloads page.

LinuxPOS is very easy to translate to different languages. If you wish to attempt translating LinuxPOS to your native language you can contact us at sales@linuxcanada.com. We will be happy to send you an evaluation copy and instructions. Of course we would like to get a sample of your work back to place on our web site for others to view.
