Sparta finish bottom of Group B

AC Sparta Praha were always going to have to pull out something extra-special if they were to match last season's achievement when they finished top of their section in the First Group Stage of the UEFA Champions League. Even so it was a major disappointment that they slipped out of the competition without even the consolation prize of a place in the UEFA Cup.

Eriksson delighted with win
