Left Bodice Back and Front using Red Thread Starting at center back Bodice is worked vertically
ROW 1: Ch 13, dc in the third ch from hook and all across, ch2, turn. (12sc).
ROW 2: Dc in the next 3 sts, hdc in the next 4 sts, dc in the next 4 sts, ch2, turn. (12 sts).
ROW 3: Working this row in the back lps only, dc in the next 3 sts, hdc in the next 4sts, dc in the next 4 sts, ch2, turn. (12sts).
ROW 4: Hdc in the next 3 sts, dc in the next 8 sts, ch2, turn. (12sts).
ROW 5: Dc in the next 10 sts, 2dc in the last st, ch2, turn. (13sts).
ROW 6: 1dc in turning st, (1dc in the next st, 2dc in the next st) 2 times, 1dc in the next st, 1hdc in the next 4 sts, 1dc in the next 3 sts, ch2, turn. (16sts).

RIGHT BODICE AND BACK make the same as for the Left side and back rows 1-4
ROW 5: 1dc in turning st, dc in the next 11 sts, ch2, turn. (13dc).
ROW 6: 1dc in the next 3 sts, hdc in the next 4 sts, 1dc in the next st, (2dc in the next st, 1dc in the next st) two times, 1dc in the top of the ch2, ch2, turn. (16sts).
ROW 7: Working this row in the back lps only, 1dc in the next st, (2dc in the next st, 1dc in the next st) 3 times, hdc in the next 5 sts, 1dc in the last 3 sts, ch2, turn. (19sts).
ROW 8: 1dc in turning st, dc in the next 8 sts, hdc in the next 2 sts, dc in the next 8 sts, ch2, turn. (20sts).
ROW 9: 1dc in the next 3 sts, (2dc in the next st, 1dc in the next st) 3 times, hdc in the next 2 sts, dc in the next 9 sts, 2dc in the top of the ch2, ch1, turn. (24sts).
ROW 10: Sc in turning st and the next 12 sts, hdc in the next 2sts, dc the next 2 sts tog, (2dc in the next st, 1dc in the next st) 3 times, Finish off. (25sts).
Placing the two sides tog, matching center front sts, sew tog using white thread still attached to the ball, winding off about 21" to work with, sew sts tog in back lps only causing a ridge at center front seam for 18sts, take the needle off thread and using crochet hook sc across the top edge of the left bodice, and across the back. Finish off.
Attach thread in the free lp of center front whip st, join white thread with a sl st and working across the right front top, sc across the right front and back of top. ch1, turn.

ROW 1: Sc in the front lp of turning st, (sk 1 sts, 2dc, ch1, 2dc in the same st), {shell made} sk2 sts, sc in the front lp of the next st, rept bet ( )'s 3 times, sk 1 st, sc in both lps of the next st, rept bet ( )'s 2 times, sk 1 sts, sl st in the center front st, (rept bet ( )'s 2 times, sk 1 sts, sc in both lps of the next st, rept bet ( )'s 4 times, sc in the last 2 sts. finish off.

PELUM ON BODICE using white thread attach thread with a sl st at the right center back, holding bodice upside down with front side facing you, ch1
ROW 1: Sc in same st, spacing sts as evenly as possible sc across the bottom of the bodice to the center front, about 18sc, sc across the other side of bottom of bodice, (about 18sc) ch2, turn. (36sc).
ROW 2: 1dc in turning st,dc in the next 17sts, 3dc in center front st, dc in the next 17 sts, 2dc in the last st, ch3, turn. (40dc).
ROW 3: 2trc in turning st, trc in the next 20 sts, 3trc in the next st, trc in the next 19sts, 2trc in the last st. Finish off (46trc).

TRIM ON PELUM         using America's Best rayon thread and size 7 hook
ROW 1: Using the white rayon thread, attach it in the first trc at center back with a sl st, ch1, sc in the same st, ch3, sc in the base of the same st to form a picot, (ch2, sc in the next st, ch3, sc in the base of the same st to form picot) all across the bottom of the pelum. Finish of.

TIGHTS
Row 1: Using red thread, ch 26, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc in each sc across, ch 2, turn.
Row 3: Dc in same st as turning, dc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc, (dc in next sc, 2 dc in next
sc) repeat across, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Sc in each dc across, 2 sc in last dc, ch 2, turn.
Row 5: Dc in each sc across, ch 1, turn.
Rnd 6: Sc in each dc across, join with sl st to first sc, ch 2, turn. You will now be working
in rounds.
Rnd 7: Dc in each sc around, join with sl st, ch 1, turn.
Rnd 8: Sc in each dc around, join with sl st, ch 2, turn.
Rnd 9: Repeat round 7, DO NOT TURN. You will now be working in rows.
Row 10: Sl st in next 2 dc, ch 6, turn, sk next 15 st, join with a sc in next st, turn.
Row 11: Sc in next st on row 9, ch 1, turn, sc back across ch 6 catching both loops, sc in
next st on row 9, ch 1, turn.
Row 12: Sc in 6 sc across crotch opening, sc back across crotch, sl st in same st as last ch
1 turn was made.
This is the basic tights pattern, ruffles may be added if wished.
Row 1: Using America's Best Rayon thread ,attach in any st at back of leg with a sc, (ch 2, sc in next st) repeat around, join with a sl st to first ch-2 lp. DO NOT TURN.
Row 2: Sl st into first ch-2 lp, (ch 2, sc in next ch lp) repeat around, join with sl st, fasten
off.
Repeat for second leg.

SKIRT using red thread and size 7 hook
ROW 1: Ch27, sc in the second ch from hook and all across the row, ch1, turn. (26sc).
ROW 2: Sc in turning st and the next 5 sts, (2sc in the next st, 1sc in the next st) 2 times,, 1sc in the next 5 sts, rept bet ( )'s two times, sc in the next 6 sts, 2sc in the last st for inc, ch1, turn. (31sc).
ROW 3: Sc in turning st and the next 6 sts, (2sc in the next st, 1sc in the next st) 3 times, sc in the next 5 sts, rept bet ( )'s 3 times, sc in the next 7 sts, putting 2 sc in the last st for inc, ch2, turn. (39sc).
ROW 4: 2dc in turning st, dc in the next 3 sts, (2dc in the next st, 1dc in the next st) 4 times, dc in the next 13 sts, rept bet ( )'s 4 times, dc in the next 4 sts, 2dc in the last st, ch2, turn. (48dc).
ROW 5: Dc in each st all around, ch1, turn. (48dc).
ROW 6: 1dc in turning st, dc in the next 12 sts, 2dc in the next st, dc in the next 18 sts, 2dc in the next st, dc in the next 12 sts, (dc the next 2 sts tog ) 2 times, dc in the next 13 sts, ch2, turn. (46sts).
ROW 7: Dc in the next 13 sts, ( dc the next 2 sts tog) 2 times, dc in the next 18 sts, rept bet ( )'s 2 times, dc in the next 13 sts, ch2, turn. (42sts).
{{ Beginning with row 8, work all crochet sts all across the row in the back lps of all even numbered rows, rows 8, 10, etc. the free lps will be for the skirt ruffles.
ROW 8: Dc the next 2 sts tog, dc all across the row to the last 2 sts, dc these 2 sts tog, ch2, turn. (40sts).
ROW 9: Dc the next 2 sts tog, dc in the next 14 sts, trc in the next 5 sts, 2trc in the next st, trc in the next 5 sts, dc in the next 14sts, dc the next 2 sts tog, ch2, turn. (30dc. 12trc).
ROW 10: Dc the next 2 sts tog, dc in the next 13 sts, trc in the next 6sts, 2trc in the sp bet the next 2 trc, trc in the next 6 sts, dc in the next 13 sts, dc the next 2 sts tog, ch2, turn. (28dc, 14trc).
ROW 11: Dc in the next 14sts, trc in the next 6trc, 3trc in the sp bet the next 2trc, dc in the next 14dc, ch2, turn. (28dc, 17trc).
Row 12-: Rept row 11 until skirt is the length that you want it to be,

RUFFLES ACROSS THE BACK OF THE SKIRT begin with row 9, holding skirt upside down right side facing you, attach red thread in first free lp of row 9 with a sc, ch1,
ROW 9: Sc in the same st, (sk 2 sts, put 6dc in the next st) 13 times, sc in the last st, ch2, turn. Finish off red. Attach white thread in beg st of ruffle row with a sc,
TRIM ON RED RUFFLE
Sc in next 2 sts, ch3, sc in the base of the same st for picot, sc in the next 6 sts), all across the row, Finish off.
Skip the next row
ROW 11: 5dc in turning st, (6dc in the third dc of the next 6 dc group, 6dc in the third dc of the same group) across to the last sc of the row, 6dc in this sc. Finish off
REPET TRIM ON RED RUFFLE using white thread
Rept these instructions for all the remaining ruffle rows till you reach the bottom of the skirt, Working both lps of the bottom of skirt to add ruffle.
