Second in Creatures series for younger fans cartwheels into the stores in time for Christmas

Cambridge, England - Creatures Playground (£14.99), the second in the Creatures Village range of interactive titles for young players, has been nominated for a 2000 BAFTA Children's Award by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in their 3rd annual Interactive Entertainment Awards.

In the title, Creatures' younger fans - ages four to eight - will join the Norns, a cute collection of virtual life creatures, in a unique and open-ended play experience filled with exciting rides and activities for kids and their Norns.the software title also boasts lateral thinking activities and fosters responsible pet care in children. In addition, Creatures Playground is a perfect opportunity to demonstrate life's fundamental milestones. The CyberLife technology ensures that the Norns think for themselves and learn from experience. Bold, colourful graphics invite play and exploration, helping to build children's skills for unstructured and creative play.

Creatures Playground is a never-ending fairground for children to explore. Like the first in the series, Creatures Adventures, the fun begins in the nestery where you hatch your first baby Norn, give it a name and start exploring.
