United States Army Senior Satellite Communications System Planner / Operations /Maintenance Manager - 20 February 1998 to Present

Scope of duties include the supervision, engineering of the installation, operation and maintenance of large and complex satellite communications networks. Technically responsible for mobile and fixed satellite earth terminal links and terrestrial circuit connectivity through peripheral multiplexing, line-conditioning devices such as patches, routers and switches. Provide technical advice to subscribers, troubleshoot link performance and monitor the status of network reliability. Worked as shift supervisor and watch officer .  Prepared administrative reports, presentations, and logs showing the telecommunications architecture. Issue orders and plans to the operators and maintainers of multifaceted organization. Responsible for all real world satellite network engineering requirements. Ensured security measures to safeguard the dissemination of rapidly changing broadband networks are managed properly. Familiar with video teleconferencing (VTC) suites by Picture-Tel. Obtained working knowledge of PBX switching, Cisco routers, frame relay multiplexers, TDM, FDM microwave equipment. Have operated and programmed various RF and digital test equipment to include: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Test Sets, Sweep Generators, Oscilloscopes, RF Power Meters, High Voltage Probes, etc.
