Finlay Family Tree

It all started in 1802, when my great great great grandfather, George Finlay, caught a boat to the United States from Scotland. He fought in the War of 1812, then settled in New York State. He and his wife had 13 children and later moved to Michigan, my home state.

Their children became farmers, went west in the gold rush, raised cattle, ran cheese factories, owned grocery stores, and one was killed in the line of duty as a US Marshal.

I am always looking for more information on my ancestors and would be glad to share what I have. Just contact me by email, and I'll get back to you soon.
