The unstoppable mapping machine known as Wayne sent us a shot of a new Daikatana map he's working on... Gibcity6! This is a deathtag map, and most probably will be part of The Daikatana DeathTag League. Check it!
Wayne released Beta3 of Gibcity5 yesterday. If you use smover's custom server launcher from yesterday, you can populate GameSpy Arcade with lots of Gibcity5b3 servers and give both of those guys feedback. Sweem!
DI-smover has put together a useful little utility for launching customized Daikatana servers. Anyone who used Mplayer should feel right at home with this; if you never went near Mplayer it's all pretty self explanatory. The util will launch every map (custom or retail), and makes putting together a map-cycle list nice and easy. So if you have the bandwidth and hate the fact that the new GameSpy Arcade doesn't let you create your own game-rooms, why not run a server that suits you? (Thanks Dr.Foxy!)
We're pleased to announce our newest hosted site... Daikatana DeathTag League. Founded by DI-Smover, this could be the start of a lot of switch throwing and bomb theft :)
If you've never heard of the DeathTag mod, then be sure to check out the instructions on how to play. Smover also has a lot of additional info, such as DeathTag's Doom origins.
Wayne let us know that he released Beta2 of Gibcity5. It's at the same link as the previous news item, so just look down on your screen an inch or two. (=
