England-Germany switched to Riverside

Sunday’s quarter-final between England and Germany has been switched from Darlington FC’s Feethams Ground, where the pitch is unplayable, to Middlesbrough FC’s BT Cellnet Riverside stadium.

Kick-off is at 15.00 (16.00CET), and the day’s other quarter-final, between Spain and Italy, takes place at Sunderland FC’s Stadium of Light at the same time.

There is also a change in venue one of the final Group D fixtures. On Friday 27 April Scotland will now play Croatia at Worksop Town FC, rather than Lincoln City FC’s Sincil Bank where the pitch is also unfit.
