Hi! You have found my website. I am Adam. I am the editor of The Kids News , a newspaper for kids in my hometown in Hampden County in Massachusetts. I am pursuing to be a journalist. I have already decided that I have a future in politics, and I am a Democrat (and I'm just 12 years old!). I am on the Golden Eagles in the 7th grade. I volunteer my time to help other students, including using part of my summer vacation to participate in the Summer School program, to help students in the fields of Math and Science. I am a big weather fanatic- I love snow-- and I am a NEWS40 Storm Tracker, 7NEWS Weather Watcher, National Weather Service Skywarn Spotter, and a WBZ-TV and Radio Weather Spotter. I am also doing a project on a subject that I feel very strongly on, which is getting letters from U.S. Senators, U.S. Representatives, State Representatives, and State Senators.

I recently was one of ten winners of the city's recycling contest. I received an award because I wrote a letter to my parents giving reasons on why our family should recycle. Keep recycling- it helps the environment!
I won the mayor's recycling letter contest. Our class celebrated with a pizza party after I received the award at City Hall. State Senator Michael Knapik (R-Westfield) came to our pizza party to talk about the MCAS. Thank you to Senator Knapik!
I won the National Geographic Society's National Geographic Bee for my middle school as the main representative from the Gold Team.
If you don't know, the Mount Holyoke Range is in danger because of real estate developers. Please help stop this. I regularly hike the range and it would hurt me and many others for houses to be on the mountain. Visit Save The Mountain Group
I love snow. I predict this year in the Springfield area, based on weather forecast graphs, we will get 65" of the white stuff. I hope we get a few days off from school!

The image of #3 Dale Earnhardt is placed above because of the tragic accident in which he died during the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 18. He was one of my favorite racers, and was definitely one of NASCAR's greatest stars.
