After spending parts of six seasons with the Redskins, Lions, and Chiefs, Johnson joined the Eagles as a free agent on 7/31/95 and has since gone on to see action as a reserve tight end and on special teams for Philadelphia ... originally entered the NFL as a 12th round selection of Washington in 1989 ... spent three seasons with the `Skins and was a member of their Super Bowl XXVI title team ... then spent `92 and part of `93 with the Lions after being acquired as a "Plan B" free agent and subsequently moved on to Kansas City for the `94 campaign ... enters 1998 having made 59 catches for 709 yards and 5 TDs in his career ...
Finished the year with 7 receptions for 127 yards.
