  1. Name or Screen Name ?
    Screen Name: Ceares

  2. A brief bio ? Male/Female ? Age ? Career ? Where is home ? Married ?
Female, 32 (Oct 27th). Artist in Training. Home is the 7th level of hell, aka Houston. Blissfully single.

  3. How did you get started in fanfiction ?
Wound up in the Buffy alt. creative ng by accident, though I had been doing epilogues in my head for my favorite shows and novels for years.

  4. How did you get started in TS ?
My dearest, bestest friend in the whole wide world<g>. She was addicted to the show and the fanfic. Loaned me the tapes, gave me the archive address, and insisted that I write something.

  5. Do you have a web page ? If so what is the URL ?
    No

  6. Are either Jim or Blair a total "bottom" in your universe ? If so who and why ?
Nah, they both pitch and catch in my world.

  7. Are you a Jim or Blair babe ? Who and why ?
Would love to curl up with both of them, but if I had to choose, I identify more with Blair. Our personalities are similar, as well as the wide ranging interest, endless trivia etc...

  8. Are you a "angst" or "owies" author ?
Well, I write angst much more than owies, but I'll read (and love) either.

  9. Are you "into" threesomes? If so who do you pair "our" pair with usually ? Why?
Simon, Simon, Simon. (Thank you Yvonne, and Grey!)

  10. Any other fandoms you write/play in ?
If so what and why ? BTVS/Angel, Xena, just getting into some Oz stuff. I love the shows. They are among the few I watch on a regular basis, plus most of the fanfic for these shows has a real dark edge that attracts me.

  11. Do you have a favorite quote ? If so what and why ?
A million of them. Today, lets see. "Love bareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things." Because it encompasses both the wonderful and the terrible thing about love at the same time.

  1. Name or Screen Name ?
My name is Linda Sorrel I write under the name Cherokeegirl

  2. A brief bio ? Male/Female ? Age ? Career ? Where is home ? Married ?
I'm female 45 years old. I live in Jacksonville Fl I am married to Walter Sorrell who also helps me write fanfic, he is even helping with the SVS story!

  3. How did you get started in fanfiction ?
My husband is a security guard and he works long hours. We are a one car family so I started playing with the PC reading fanfic then the sweet lady who writes under the name Candy Apple encouraged me to start writing. Then Tricia was kind enough to host my stories.

  4. How did you get started in TS ?
Quite honestly that show had such slash overtones that it was easy to see them in a long term M/M relationship. I also write Starsky and Hutch fanfiction for the same reason. The guys were so close in both those shows it was like taking them to the next logical step in their relationship.

  5. Do you have a web page ? If so what is the URL ?
    I have a webpage at
http://members.tripod.com/~cherokeegirl1/index-2.html but since I am still learning html Tricia is hosting my stories and I can't remember that addy to save my life. Please ask her. (As many times as she has given it to me she'll think it's funny.)

  6. Are either Jim or Blair a total "bottom" in your universe ? If so who and why ?
Neither I have written them both ways.

  7. Are you a Jim or Blair babe ? Who and why ?
I really don't consider myself either. Both have their good points

  8. Are you a "angst" or "owies" author?
    I confess both.

  9. Are you "into" threesomes? If so who do you pair "our" pair with usually ? Why ?
ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also WILL NOT write Domestic Discipline (spousal abuse) BDSM or anything KINKY!

  10. Any other fandoms you write/play in ? If so what and why ?
Starsky and Hutch for the reasons mentioned above.

  11. Do you have a favorite quote ? If so what and why ?
    No.

  12. A brief bibliography... please ?
Since I am new to writing fan fic and I write in two fandoms there aren't a lot of stories. In the TS fandom I have written:

"Without Prejudice" a zine coming out from AMC press. They are taking preorders now.

"The Cascade Ripper" Which Tricia has on my site. (also on my tripod site)
"This Band of Gold" Tricia also has this one posted. (also on my tripod site)
    Several Poems:
"Because you Came to Me" both Jim and Blair's POV (Tricia and Tripod)
"What Love Is" both Jim and Blair's POV (Tricia and Tripod)
"Together" Jim writes of his love of Blair (Tricia and Tripod)

  13. Any thing else you would like to share with your readers ?
Please be kind in your comments. I'm new at this!

  1. Name or Screen Name ?
    Corbeau

  2. A brief bio ? Male/Female ? Age ? Career ? Where is home ? Married ?
Female; Age now 53, alas; Career-Librarian Where is home-Redwood City, CA (San Francisco Bay Area); Married-Domestic Partnered, 29 years.

  3. How did you get started in fanfiction ?
Read the stuff since the early 1970s; Beauty & the Beast finally got me to start writing it.

  4. How did you get started in TS ?
Converted to the Church of Jim & Blair by exposure to those enthusiastic Sentinel fans at Friscon, and by reading other people's fanfic.

  5. Do you have a web page ?
Not yet, but maybe this year (I hope).

  6. Are either Jim or Blair a total "bottom" in your universe ?
    Nope

  7. Are you a Jim or Blair babe, and why ?
I lean more toward Blair (I lie, I *adore* Blair) because I'm an academic and so is/was he (and I was an anthro minor to boot); and because he's such an emotionally generous and complex character; and because my formative years were the 1960s and I love long hair on men. That said, I think the two of them *together* is what makes the magic!

  8. Are you a "angst" or "owies" author ?
IMHO, a little angst goes a long way. I'm more into romance and humor.

  9. Are you "into" threesomes?
    No way.

  10. Any other fandoms you write/play in ? If so what and why ?
Wrote a bunch of Beauty & the Beast gen stories in the late 80s-90s under my real name. Did art work & Poetry for K/S zines many years ago, under my real name--that was before the Internet! Went to several Zebracons...read a lot of S/H in the old days, also like Duncan/Methos; Due South slash; Xena/Gabrielle; Batman/Robin. Why? I'm a romantic, and as that commercial says, "Straight Is Boring."...unless one of them isn't quite human, of course. I still like Katherine/Vincent and Nick/Nat (Forever Knight)...well, Mulder/Scully too, but they almost qualify.

  11. Do you have a favorite quote ? If so what and why ?
Lots! If you mean a favorite "Sentinel" quote, probably that "whispers of the heart" one, because it's unbelievably romantic & slashy...otherwise, it's "Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore" because it's a great all-purpose quote.

  12. A brief bibliography... please ?
    On 852 Prospect:
    Where the Love Light Gleams
I Saw Sandburg Kissing Santa Claus
    Lucky After All
    I Love This Job
    Cascade Olympiad
    The Blair Witch Project

Coming in _Come to Your Senses_ 20:

  1. Name or Screen Name ?
    Geli

  2. A brief bio ? Male/Female ? Age ? Career ? Where is home ? Married ?
Female, 37 years old, student, Germany, single. :-)

  3. How did you get started in fanfiction ?
Somewhere back in the 80's I got TOS zines, then slash zines (Alexis Fegan Black). Restarted slash reading when I discovered TS slash archive over 3 years ago.

  4. How did you get started in TS ?
TS ran on German TV 3-1/2 years ago. I watched it from the beginning and started to tape it after Spare Parts. The obvious slash in the show had hit me over the head.

  5. Do you have a web page ? If so what is the URL ?
    Geli
    http://www.geocities.com/tarismare/Sentinel.htm
    or Geli's Mirror http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Nook/5175/Sentinel.htm

  6. Are either Jim or Blair a total "bottom" in your universe ? If so who and why ?
Equal rights for both! I write them depending on the situation and style of the story. I like to read both.

  7. Are you a Jim or Blair babe ? Who and why ?
I'm attracted to Jim and I identify with Blair as a dedicated student. Not that I would push him from the ledge of my bed. And I can identify with Jim's humor and stoic moods.

  8. Are you a "angst" or "owies" author ?
Nope, humor, romance, except sometimes dark erotic or criminal stories.

  9. Are you "into" threesomes? If so who do you pair "our" pair with usually ? Why ?
Nope, did it only once with Simon in a snippet. But I'm not against it.

  10. Any other fandoms you write/play in ? If so what and why ?
Not so far. I had a lot of fandoms. TOS, TNG, Sherlock Holmes, Quantum Leap, Forever Knight, Equalizer, Dr. Who, Black Adder, Monty Python, Stanislav Lem. I have no reasonable explanation why I loved that stuff.

  11. Do you have a favorite quote ? If so what and why ?
Scio nescio. *I know, that I know nothing*, Socrates. I think one of the biggest problems of human kind is to always be convinced to be in the possession of The Truth.

  1. Name or Screen Name ?
    GreenWoman

  2. A brief bio ? Male/Female ?
    Female.

    Age ?
    48

    Career ?
Information and supply research, generation, reproduction, distribution, and disposal engineer (administrative assistant).

    Where is home ?
Home is southern California and southern Florida. Unfortunately, I currently reside in central Illinois.

    Married ?
    Divorced for 22 years.

  3. How did you get started in fanfiction ?
I wrote fanfiction (for "The Man From UNCLE" and "Star Trek") as a teenager in junior high in the mid-sixties, before I knew fandom existed. I entered sf&f; fandom in 1971, and started playing in media fandom and writing/illustrating for media 'zines in 1980.

  4. How did you get started in TS ?
Friends from "Deep Space Nine" and "The Magnificent Seven" fandom kept telling me I'd love "The Sentinel," but we don't get UPN locally and Fox didn't pick it up. When the Sci Fi Channel announced it would begin running the show this past spring, I started looking for fanfiction online to read before the show aired and discovered 852 Prospect. Alyjude's stories drew me the rest of the way in, and I was hooked on the relationship (even though I'd never been a slash fan) before I ever saw the show for the first time.

  5. Do you have a web page ? If so what is the URL ?
GreenWoman's Half Aft Bar and Reading Room:
    http://www.squidge.org/~halfaft

  6. Are either Jim or Blair a total "bottom" in your universe ? If so who and why ?
No. As someone who's never been a slash fan prior to this fandom, and who rarely writes graphic sex, it's not an issue that I've given much thought to; however, although I see them in an equal give/take sexual relationship, I think I more frequently see Jim on top and Blair on bottom because that reflects their physical interaction out of bed. For me.

  7. Are you a Jim or Blair babe ? Who and why ?
I like Blair best because I identify with him more ... with his interests, his humor, his love of learning, his views on life and philosophy (such as we were given the opportunity to see them). I'd rather spend time with him ... I'd rather have him as a friend. But Jim has grown on me: I like his sense of humor (more subtle and anarchistic than Blair's, oddly enough), his stoicism, his sense of honor, and his deceptive appearance (manly man on the outside, sweet guy on the inside).

  8. Are you a "angst" or "owies" author ?
Angst. Psychological owies interest me more than physical ones. This is not, however, an exclusive preference. ;-)

  9. Are you "into" threesomes? If so who do you pair "our" pair with usually ? Why?
Nope. Don't have anything against folks who write them, it's just a bit too far out of my personal fanon for me to read/enjoy, generally. %-)

  10. Any other fandoms you write/play in ? If so what and why ?
In the 80s, I wrote some "Star Wars" fic for various zines. I also contributed fairly heavily (fic, cartoons, illos) to a pair of zines that focused on Harrison Ford's various characters ("Star Wars," "Blade Runner," "Indiana Jones") and, in partnership with a friend, wrote a series of stories based on his character in "Heroes." I edited, wrote and illustrated the Buckaroo Banzai Fan Club newsletter, and wrote a few BB stories. Dropped out of fandom for a few years, and then in '96 started writing "Deep Space Nine" (mostly Odo). Since then I've been writing "The Magnificent Seven" and "The Sentinel." There's even a bit of Jimmy Buffett fanfiction (Tales of the Key West Foreign Legion) on my website. Buffett guest stars in the stories, but they're really about my fellow Parrotheads on the news group alt.fan.jimmy-buffett.

  11. Do you have a favorite quote ? If so what and why ?
For over ten years I have kept three quotes on a piece of paper on my desk:

"There is humor in everything, no matter how grim." (Warren Zevon)
"If I wasn't crazy, I would go insane." (Jimmy Buffett)
"Be cool, but care." (Buckaroo Banzai)
Last year I added, "What just happened here?" (Ezra Standish).

  12. A brief bibliography... please ?
I'd have to list anything prior to "Deep Space Nine" from memory ... and I don't remember most of it. ;-) It's all in zines and, I believe, all out of print. The zine titles I can recall are "Facets" and "Flip of a Coin" (Harrison Ford's various characters) and "Robin's Nest" (Magnum PI), although I also had material in a few others in those days. Some of my more recent stories can be found in a series of DS9 zines called "Love and Justice," edited by Chris Bichler, and "Odo-Files," a zine with stories selected by Rene Auberjonois, who played Odo in DS9. I have one TM7 story in Kathy Agel's "Scoundrel, Sinners and Saviors," and another in an upcoming TM7 zine edited by her.

  13. Any thing else you would like to share with your readers ?
I love reading and writing fanfiction. Henry Jenkins, Director of Media Studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, calls fanfiction writers "textual poachers," and has a quote of which I am very fond; "Fan fiction is the way of the culture repairing the damage done in a system where contemporary myths are owned by corporations instead of owned by the folk." That perfectly defines my feelings about fanfiction.
