Congratulations, Kent Andrew and Danielle!
Our oldest son, Kent Andrew Hovind, has worked in our ministry for years as well as working in the audio-video department at our church. On October 14, he married Danielle Donovan, a preschool teacher in our church daycare. We are so thankful for God providing such a sweet servant of Christ for our son and family. Congratulations!

Ministry news!
In early October, I took an eight-day preaching trip to Japan. The organizers there did an awesome job of keeping me busy speaking in churches, schools and military chapels in many different cities around Tokyo! We were able to videotape seminar parts one through three in Japanese and hope to have these available soon. If you are interested in the Japanese tapes, please, contact the office and request to be put on the waiting list. Pray for the Christians in Japan! It is a very difficult field in which to labor. We believe the creation message is a great way to reach this culture with the gospel.

Then, we had a great meeting at Calvary Chapel in Diamond Bar, California where nearly 12,000 attended! At this writing, I'm on a plane with my daughter, Marlissa, flying over Greenland as we return from 12 days preaching in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Wales. They sure kept us busy preaching in churches and universities! Our other speakers, Eric Hovind and Mike Schultz, are traveling to present my seminar material nearly every week as well. All of our itineraries are kept up-to-date on the web site. Please, tell friends about a seminar in their area and pray that God will use us to bring people closer to Him.

Mission Opportunity
We have four seminars scheduled in Russian-speaking churches! There is a great need to get the creation message to former communist people, as communism is based on evolutionary philosophy. We have spent a great deal of time and money to produce the seminar tapes in Russian. We now have all seven tapes available.

We have sent out over $25,000 worth of tapes, free of charge, to missionaries and prisons; yet, we still have scores of missionaries on our waiting list to get free tapes. We send them as God provides the funding. Ask God if He would have you or your church help in this outreach. If you feel led to help reach the lost or strengthen believers via the creation message, you may designate your gifts for prison or mission work. We have Japanese (parts 1-3), Russian (all 7), Spanish (1-3), French (all 6-old series), English (all 7) or sign language (1-3). We have requests on file from people who want us to produce our videos in over 20 other languages!

Creation Science 102
What a great class this has been! There is so much more information on this series of tapes than is in my seminar. In our 15 hours of class time in CSE 101, we covered what is only three hours on Part 1 and half of Part 2 of the seminar series. Now, in the 15 hours of CSE 102, we covered the rest of part 2, part 3 and half of part 4. It is great to be able to "chase all the rabbits," answer the skeptics, and give more thorough explanations of many topics along the way. We videotaped the live classroom sessions for the course and are offering the tapes as Creation Science 101 and 102. These courses are available for college credit to all high school juniors and above. Contact our office if you would like to take either of these courses via video. The courses are $75 each. I try hard to make all my material easy to understand as well as humorous and exciting. This course will be great for home school, public and private school students as well as adults who want to learn more about creation. CSE 103 will deal with part 5 and starts in January.

New Kids Web Site
We are pleased to announce the beginning of our children's website, http://kids.drdino.com, (still very much under construction). Our purpose in creating this division of our ministry is to show more children the way to Christ through dinosaurs and Creation, and to reveal to them the lies they are being taught in public school. We need your help! If you are an artist, we need artwork. If you are an author, we need kids stories. If you are a web programmer, there are many ways you could help. If you simply have a suggestion, we welcome any and all comments. Kids can even submit ideas, artwork and stories. Please contact Daniel Van Bogelen at dvb@drdino.com, if you are interested in helping. We need to reach these kids before the evolutionists do!

Hugh Ross Debate
I was honored to be invited by John Ankerberg to debate with Dr. Hugh Ross, a "progressive creationist." Dr. Ross's teachings and books from Reasons to Believe have influenced many around the world to believe the earth is billions of years old and the flood of Noah was just a local event. He teaches that God made a world where death and suffering were part of God's plan. I am convinced that some of Dr. Ross's teachings are heretical and need to be exposed. We have added comments as needed to fully compare Ross's teachings with Scripture and science. This new tape series will be a great help to students who face the subject of progressive creation, gap theory, or day age theory in liberal Bible schools and colleges. The entire package dealing with Dr. Ross includes the debates and the book Creation and Time for $78.

Many have asked for our debate series to be put on audiotape so they can listen as they drive or work. This project is now complete and is available on audio cassette. We have also added over 25 new books, witnessing tools and other items to our product line. These are all listed on our web site (www.drdino.com) and in our new catalog.

CSE Staff Spotlight
God has raised up over 25 people to work in the ministry here at CSE. We will introduce a few in each newsletter. We will begin by introducing Dan Nelson and Bill Seaman to you. Dan is one of our four managers here at CSE. He is in charge of our bookstore, product purchases, orders and shipping and keeping the operation flowing smoothly. His late wife, Carolyn, was my secretary for six and a half years until her home going in January 1998. Dan has three married children, two grandchildren and one daughter, Joyann, who is a freshman in college and helps part-time here at CSE. Dan's son-in-law, Daniel Van Bogelen, is working on development of our children's web site. Dan has been a great blessing to the Lord's work at CSE for many years. Thanks, Dan, for your faithfulness in serving the Lord!

Bill Seaman has been with CSE since 1992. He directs our children's ministry here at Dinosaur Adventureland through which hundreds of children have accepted Christ; makes science videos as "Dr. Kaboom" for our exciting upcoming series for home school science; and heads up construction and maintenance. He is one of the most multi-talented men I have ever met and has such a servant's heart. Bill is married to Ruth, one of our Russian translators. They have one son, William, and a brand new six pound baby girl, Abigail Kathleen. Bill has been a great blessing and is indispensable in the busy work here. Thanks, Bill and Ruth, for your long hours serving the Lord here at CSE!

Start a Creation Ministry
Great! I know of no greater need in this century. Over the last ten years, we have helped nearly 150 people start their own creation ministries. We offer a starter packet, which includes more than 3400 visuals that I use in my seminar as well as a video with tips on how to use visuals and an audiotape on how to get a ministry started. This entire packet is available for just $150!

Next Building?
We are planning now for the next stage of growth at CSE. Our new multi-purpose building will house our museum, science activity center and CSE offices. Please, ask God if He would like you to have a part in this next phase of our outreach. As has been our policy here for 11 years, we don't beg for money at CSE. If God lays something on your heart to help then just obey Him and all will be fine.
