WINGS:

Begin the wings with the right side of angel towards you.

Row 1: Attach yarn in one of the marked ch-1 sp. Ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in same sp, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ea of the ch-1 sps (total of 8), ch 3, turn. (8 shells made)

Rows 2-4: (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ea of the 8 ch-2 sps, end row with dc in last st, ch 3, turn.

Rows 5: (5 dc in ea ch-2 sp) across, ending with dc in last st, finish off and weave in ends. (total 42 dc)

Repeat directions above for other wing.

Designer Notes: I wove in a ribbon on Rnd 31 of body. Due to the yarn's elasticity, and my lack of elastic, the ribbon is mostly for decoration. I tied it a bit snugly. I also wove in a small red ribbon around the neck of the angel (Rnd 1 of body, I believe). I used a yarn needle and some matching yarn, and attached the cabone ring to the back of the angel's head on Rnd 3, I believe. After securing it, I wove a ribbon in and out of the dc on Rnd 3. I hot-glued the ribbon together over the stitching of the cabone ring to *cover up my uglies*. I hope you all enjoy this pattern!
