Project Name: Extreme Quadrapod

I originally came to the idea of the Extreme Quadrapod (EXQUAD) because my nose mounted video camera was way too unsteady during walking sequences. I thought of mounting the camera itself on shock absorbers but I felt I could kill two birds with one stone if i simply added shocks to the legs. Now the video motion is smoother as is the gait of my EXQUAD. It takes the bumps and lurches out of the Pseudo-Dynamic walking gait. I modified R/C car shocks to fit onto a linkage that attaches the four cross members of each leg, refer to the tech sketch for a better explanation.
