We are always looking for people to get involved as media producers
and in other logistical roles. Please introduce yourself at our volunteer signup page and
subscribe to one or more of our email lists

The audio team is seeking folks to help coordinate event coverage, live
web radio, microradio, and productions for on-demand streaming and
syndication. If you can listen and talk you can interview. If you can
interview we can help you make your material available to a global
audience.

The editorial team updates the center column of the front page, and
various feature pages, at least three times a week. This involves
determining what coverage to feature, writing the highlight text, and
choosing and resizing any featured images. Knowledge of HTML is optional.
There is no time requirement; most members spend about 2 hours a week
helping out. Anyone is encouraged to volunteer: diversity of people
involved means a diversity of viewpoints on our pages.

The video team organizes regular screenings of independent
documentaries around the Bay Area. It also coordinates video coverage and
collaborative productions, and provides access to shared equipment and
facilities. We are interested in donations of camcorders to loan out to
video activists.
