| The daffodil is the
Canadian Cancer Societys symbol of hope in the
fight against cancer. Over three days, more than 10
million fresh daffodils are sold in communities across
the country. During Daffodil Month, volunteers knock on
neighbours doors seeking support for the Canadian
Cancer Society. For over forty years, this activity has
been the foundation of the Societys fundraising
efforts. The Canadian Cancer Society makes the best use of every donated dollar! We are totally supported by public donations. With your help, the Canadian Cancer Society makes a difference in the lives of people: by funding cancer research to improve detection and treatment; by providing current, reliable information about cancer; and by helping people living with cancer. |
