Like Japanese character design? How about running and jumping around a 3-D fantasy world? Have a look at what sort of platforming goodness Namco has lined up...

When it's coming to Japan: March, 2001

When it's coming to the US: Shortly after, we hope.

What's the deal: A 3-D dynamic action game set in 24 stages including towns, forests, waterfalls and other appropriately trippy locales.

Why we're excited: The first game featured great character designs, a funky fantasy story, and plenty of platform jumping action. Take a look at these screens and tell us your interest isn't piqued.

Potential Problems: Not too many details at the moment, so it's hard to say - we're just hoping it comes stateside soon, so we can see for ourselves.

Interest level (out of ten): 8

Screens

If the game is going to look this good, we're willing to wait for it...

We're not sure if this puffy, floating saw-toothed sea-horse is friend or foe, but he looks to be good transportation.

These guys, however, definitely look friendly, if mischievous.
