"The new legend has begun!" the game movie proclaims, and we're inclined to believe the hype. Game Arts promises both the game's story and its character interactions will be more detailed than the original; the company has also suggested that Grandia II will more of an "adult tale." There are five main characters in II: Rudo (who carries an eagle on his shoulder), the priestess Elena, the busty mystery woman Millenia, the young boy Roen and the bestial Maregg.
