Time: 8.30pm

Eugenie Sandler is an ordinary teenager, worried about the usual things – her place in the world, who she is and what it’s like to be fifteen. Then she worries about Ray, her private investigator father whose job causes frequent changes of address or as Eugenie puts it: ‘Other girls collect CD’s; me it’s post-codes!’

Then one morning her worries really start! Ray lets drop what sounds like a warning, but before he can explain, he disappears leaving Eugenie to discover that some people want to kidnap her while others would like her dead.

But there’s help at hand…Warwick Bedford, a gawky and serious boy from school becomes her ally and together they set about resolving the mystery that surronds Eugenie’s life.

And with, the explanation comes more than one surprise! Eugenie has no birth certificate, her passport is false, she was not born in Australia but in the crumbling dictatorship of Versovia, Ray is not her father and she is of royal blood-the last in line to the throne.

And some people just don’t want her to wear that crown!

Being Eve – Airing in Nickelozone from Friday 24th August

Time: 9.30pm

Being Eve is something completely different and original – a fresh, upbeat, light-hearted look at early teen life as seen through the eyes of a fifteen year-old girl. Teenagers are moving into the 21st Century with an array of media, and Eve sees it as her role on the planet to somehow make sense of his confusion. Eve’s an anthropologist and a philosopher. She asks big questions, small questions, all questions. Her thoughts are heard loud and clear as she muses on what it means to be a teenager in the new millennium, in a small country at the bottom of the world, and where she fits into all this.
