The company is also aiming to build awareness of Windows XP and possible issues around it. With Windows XP's official release mere months away, Microsoft has started to clear some of the haze swirling around its next operating system. Critics say the software behemoth is singing an old song with the way it's going to package Windows Messenger technology with the OS--a move that's eerily similar to the browser dispute that landed the company in court in 1996.
