SIKITCHA ~ The Deal ~ The Play
|
When I was in high school, Pusoy Dos was king. I had friends blowing a month's allowance on the game. In college, Pusoy Dos and Tong-its was a staple in our vacant time (and cut class hours) and some of my friends were eventually given the boot out of their college. It was in my final year in UP that I learned to play Sikitcha and I'm not quite sure if it is already popular outside my org. Disclaimer: I do not claim to have invented Sikitcha. To whoever did, I think you're a genius. The material contained herein are my personal interpretation of the game and I'm just sharing what I've learned and why I think the game kicks ass. Sikitcha is similar to Pusoy Dos but introduces new rules and new card combinations. If you're already familiar with Pusoy Dos then you can pick up Sikitcha quite easily. This game is perfect for Filipinos who have played Pusoy Dos their whole lives and whose Pusoy Dos strategies are already embedded in their subconscious. It's like learning how to play Pusoy Dos all over again. Similarities
