IRAN'S FOREIGN MINISTER ARRIVES IN UZBEKISTAN

On Thursday, Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi arrived in Tashkent for a two-day visit.
In the programme of his visit are meetings with Uzbekistan's leader Islam Karimov and Prime Minister Utkir Sultanov. Kharrazi intends to discuss, with his Uzbek analogue Abdulaziz Kamilov, the state of bilateral political and economic cooperation, matters of regional security, joint efforts against illegal drug trafficking.
During his Tashkent tour, Kamal Kharrazi is accompanied by a large group of Iranian businessmen.
