Beaker.net's Clive Thompson will be appearing on a panel at the upcoming SXSW Interactive Conference in Austin, Texas on March 13. Titled "Designing for Wireless - Constructing elegant websites for PDAs, handheld devices and cell phones" Thompson will be joined by Lance Arthur (Glassdog.com), Mark Meadows (Bore.com) and Dr. Mike Mills (AlterEgo Networks).The panel will be moderated by Brad King from Wired.com. 

Browsing the wireless web probably poses fewer health risks than talking on a cell phone, since the device is further away from one's head. But since we all talk and surf on our mobile phones, cnet's survey on which phones give off the most radiation is worth checking out, even though they acknowledge that the "jury is still out" on whether cell phone use is harmful to your health.
