Clues: 
From the bottom of the concrete steps that lead up to the lighthouse head west down the broad path 12 paces, then angle to the right down the narrow path until you reach a concrete slab and can sight along the edge of a small building on your left.  The letterbox is on that line-of-sight  6 paces beyond the far edge of the building.  It is under a pointed rock next to a 6" stump in a small grove of pine trees.  You will have to pay admission to get on this site but its well worth it.  While there you can visit the lighthouse as well as the old houses which were once attendant's quarters.  They are truly awesome.  Happy letterbox hunting.
