Beaufort House

a collection of resources for the working Coven Leader

These Web pages, first and foremost, are about creative, mature and thoughtful English Traditional Witchcraft, with a focus on things Gardnerian in Canada and America.

What else you will find here is a library of essays and articles of interest to the Wicca, including non-initiate teaching papers and information about various English traditions of Witchcraft and some of their American offshoots.

What you will not find here is information concerning the general Neo-Pagan movement, 'Witchcraft-for-money', or similar topics. Many other Web resources cover that ground, some of them quite well.

Individual authors are identified on each page -- all authors are duly vouched-for Elders in one or more Traditions of the Craft. The Beaufort House Association itself is an ad-hoc working group of Elders from various of the concerned Traditions; we draw no pay-cheques from this work, nor is it intended as a basis for proselytising or conversion.

For general inquiries, e-mail us via: beaufort_house@hotmail.com.

Design note: These pages are of simple format, without animated pentacles and flickering flames. Simplicity in all things is the hallmark of mature Craft, after all.
