Bioterrorism and Bioweapons
There
have been rumours that terrorist suspect Osama
bin Laden's agents acquired anthrax
cultures in Indonesia and Kazakhstan, and the
bacteria that cause botulism in eastern Europe.
And on last Monday the US was reported to have
satellite pictures of dead dogs tied to stakes
in one of bin Laden's camps in Afghanistan - possibly
victims of chemical tests.
Also on a more recent note the FBI has limited
the use of crop dusters amid concerns that suspected
terrorists might have been plotting to use the
aircraft for another attack, possibly chemical
or biological, according to law enforcement sources.
