New No. 1 Hewitt sweeps Grosjean to take title
Talk about finishing strong -- it'd be hard to close out a season better than Lleyton Hewitt did this year. The young Aussie won the final Grand Slam in rousing fashion, then overtook Gustavo Kuerten this week for the world No. 1 ranking. Sunday, he rolled past Sebastien Grosjean 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 to capture the year-end Masters Cup before a supportive home crowd in Sydney. It was a fitting end to a remarkable year for the 20-year-old.
