    Mirrors
    A list of all official freedb mirror servers can be found here.
    Most applications can be configured to use a mirror, so you can select the mirror nearest to you, which will probably have faster response times.

    This list is far from complete. Many more applications are freedb-aware and additionally virtually every CDDB1-aware application is able to use freedb.org.
    If your favourite program doesn't support freedb yet, please ask the programmer of your favorite CD-player or have a look at the applications that easily can be tweaked to access freedb.

    Wanna be listed here? Send us an email at info@freedb.org and provide us with a copy of your program for testing purposes (do not append the program itself to the mail you send!). While in the past we added links to freedb-aware applications without having had a look at them, we will now only list applications, which have been tested to work properly with freedb. freedb is still free for all applications. There are no registration requirements, but if you want to be listed here, we wish to take a look at your program first.

    Footnotes:

    1) Revisions are not supported by this program, so you cannot update existing freedb-entries using this program (Note that not all programs have been tested for that, so if this note is not specified for a program, it does not mean, that it definitely supports revisions!)
    2) Easy CD Creator does not access freedb directly. All requests are sent to a Roxio gateway and redirected to freedb from there. This is sometimes causing problems, as the gateway doesn't seem to be very reliable. Attempts to persuade Roxio to change that were unsuccessful.
