Functional Summary

While enrolled in a college course in mid 1996 to early 1997, I introduced a way to get a highly recognized interior design company from Utah to broaden their selling market via mass media and the Internet. After entering my research paper into a DECA competition, and presenting my ideas, I found myself flying to California to sell this same idea in a National DECA event. I went away with a first place over-all finish in Utah, and an Honorable Mention in the National Competition. 

Since my senior year in High School, I have been extremely involved with Technology. I am by no means an expert in any given topic, but I have established a broad knowledge of the technical field over the last three years. Some of the “hats” I carry are:

My most recent experience in a VARS atmosphere was when I worked for CATG Connecting Point in SLC, UT. While there, I worked as part of a team handling our state contract. I attended the Hewlett Packard and Compaq training programs. I have provided migration paths for organizations and have been trained in almost every aspect of selling technical hardware and software. Prior to CATG, I worked for Microsoft as a Channel Pre-Sales Support Rep. While there I completed a one-month training class and became an MSS.

I am currently an Outside Sales Representative for Hewlett Packard. I enjoy working for one of the leading manufacturers of PC and Peripheral Product. I have 60 accounts I work with and handle the DC, VA, and MD area.
