Played in 34 games with six starts... Has now played in 112 games, needing 39 games next year to tie Wayne Turner's NCAA record... Fifth on the team in scoring (7.0 ppg), fourth in rebounding (4.4 rpg) and tops in blocked shots (66)... Terrific in postseason play, averaging 8.3 ppg, 5.1 rpg and 2.1 bpg while shooting 55.8 percent from the field... Has played in 16 NCAA Tournament games, recording 34 blocked shots which ranks fifth all-time in NCAA Tournament history... Scored in double figures 11 times this season, seven times after January... Had a super SEC Tournament, averaging 10.0 ppg, 5.7 rpg and blocking seven shots while shooting 60.9 percent from the field. 1997-98 Played in 38 of the 39 games with 12 starts as a sophomore. ... Tallied 66 blocks, the eighth most for a season in school history ... Now has 145 blocks in his career, fourth on the all-time UK list ... Given UK's "Best Defender Award" after the season ... Was a tremendous lift off the bench in NCAA Tournament play, averaging 16.3 minutes, 4.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg and 3.0 bpg ... Shot 71.4% from the field and 80.0% from the foul line during the six NCAA Tournament games ... Played 22 minutes vs. Utah in the national championship game, tallying seven points, two rebounds and three blocks ... Equaled his career high with six blocks against UCLA in the South Region semifinals ... Tallied 18 blocks in six NCAA Tournament games despite averaging only 16.3 minutes per game ... Started 22 of the 40 games including five of the six in the NCAA tournament ... Led the SEC in blocked shots with 79 (2.0 bpg), despite playing only 15.7 minutes per game ... His 79 blocked shots were the most by a freshman in school history ... Named to the SEC's All-Freshman team ... Also named UK's "Co-Best Defender" by the coaching staff ... Tallied seven rebounds and four blocks in 30 minutes of Final Four action ... Recorded six blocked shots vs. Wright State in UK's home opener and equaled his career high of 10 rebounds ... Recorded his first double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds vs. Alaska Anchorage ... Nearly had his second double-double vs. Alabama, with 13 points, nine boards and six blocked shots in a Player-of-the-Game performance ... His break-out game came against Syracuse in the Great Alaska Shootout, where he tallied 16 points (14 in the second half), eight boards, two steals and two blocks in 28 minutes off the bench, while converting all six of his free throws to earn his first top-player award.

HIGH SCHOOL Averaged 23.8 ppg, 14.7 rpg, 7.2 blocks and 3.0 assists his final year at Eastern to lead the team to its second consecutive Ontario Golden Ball title, a provincial championship equivalent to a state title in the U.S. ... Played less than 24 minutes per game ... Shot 61.2 percent from the field and 72.0 percent from the foul line in leading the team to a 39-3 record ... In the championship game, he registered 19 points, 15 rebounds and seven blocks in just 20 minutes of action due to early foul trouble ... In the semifinals, he scored 33 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked six shots in 22 minutes ... Was named MVP of the National Kingdom Tournament in Ocala, Fla., in Dec. 1995, scoring 24 points, grabbing 15 rebounds and blocking eight shots to lead the squad to victory over Orlando Phillips ... In that contest, he shot 16-16 from the foul line ... In the semifinals, he scored 23 points, grabbed 13 boards and blocked eight shots against Swainsboro, Ga. ... Capped his final campaign by being named to Toronto's Dream Team, an honor for the top-five players in the metropolitan area ... In 1994-95, he led the squad to its first Golden Ball title, averaging 15.0 ppg, 10.4 rpg and seven bpg ... Squad was perfect in Canada, finishing 44-0 ... In the summer 1996, he was one of two high school stars to be named to the Canadian National Team ... Highlights with national team included a 16-point, 8-rebound performance vs. Argentina ...Coached by Simeon Mars.
