Since its creation in May, 1994, the World War I Military History List - WWI-L - has fostered the discussions of an international association of historians, scholars and students in its online community of more than 500 members. WWI-L deals with the period of approximately 1890-1920. Topics vary and include the whole range of the Great War era -- military, diplomatic, ssocial, economic, political and artistic. The List is owned by Jane Plotke and Steve Baldwin, and held at the University of Kansas; the WWI/WWW web site is made possible largely through the efforts and contributions of Listmembers.
