Imagine a world where every internal combustion engine, and every
furnace, and every kiln and oven, burned hydrogen generated
from tap water, and then returned the water to
the ecosystem as water vapor, with no hydrocarbon by-products,
using the infrastructure that exists today.
Xogen processís most significant promise is that it will make
it economical for hydrogen to replace carbon-based fuels, and
could conceivably reduce atmospheric pollution to a fraction of
what it is today.
This is a vision of
a re-made world, and it has intense appeal to a person concerned,
as we all must be, about the effects of carbon pollution.
