Proposal: A written project proposal has been
submitted.
Evaluation: OSDL lab director and requester(s)
review proposal to evaluate appropriateness for use of OSDL resources.
Issues or questions surrounding the proposed project are identified and
resolved. Preliminary acceptance may be granted during this phase.
Accepted: The project has been accepted by the
OSDL lab director. Equipment will be acquired, scheduled and configured
as required by the project. An OSDL contact is assigned.
Active: Testing/development is underway.
Test/development plan revised, as necessary. Project team keeps OSDL
contact updated on project status, including progress and issues.
Review: Results are being reviewed by project team
to determine if test/development effort is complete, or what the next
step should be.
Analysis: A detailed written analysis of the
test/development results is created by the project team and submitted to
the OSDL for review and addition to the project archive.
