GNTP is a worldwide peer-to-peer network that allows you to publish your GEDCOM files to the entire world directly from your own computer. Many people currently do this through home pages on the World Wide Web (WWW). The GNTP network provides many benefits above and beyond what the WWW can provide.

GNTP is a free and open network. It is not a money-making venture, but an open effort by a group of people that see the need for this type of service. We welcome all help in this project. Although the network is already working, there is still much to be done.

The GNTP network is a research project within the E-Business Center at Brigham Young University.
