I would like to thank you for the wonderful link to the IRS voluntary audit page. It saved me the hassle of hiding for years and living in fear. The only problem is they scheduled me for one, but didn't tell me anything, like what to bring, or where to go. Alas, it is a total waste of both their time and mine, as I have paid them all I am going to pay them for the time being. All my earnings were automatically with held. I guess that I must now go on the lam. Gee, maybe they can put my mind at rest by seizing this computer so that I no longer click on links without knowing what they are. Again thanks. Roger. Thank you! ....for informing others about the TRUTH. So many people are being led around by the "wallet" -- by numerous government agencies and officials that I can only refer to as "con artists". They make people believe that we MUST give up our money to their programs or we will be imprisoned, unable to get a job, a bank account, a driver's license, etc. Some of us are roped into this by our parents, employers, friends and relatives who have never read the actual laws, and who were roped into themselves by someone else. READ THE LAWS. I dropped out of the Social Security program in 1982, along with 1,000 plus other employees of the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff's Office (New Orleans, Louisiana). We put the money from our wages that was allotted for social security into a PRIVATE PENSION FUND instead, -- in order to secure our futures. That was 20 years ago. I assure everyone that it is legal to do so. NONE of us were imprisoned, or anything horrible like that. You simply have to make the move to secure your own future, and STOP giving the federal government (and Federal Reserve Bank owners)... YOUR hard earned dollars. You WILL NOT be imprisoned... and your family will NOT suffer if you do this. However, if you remain the federal Social IN-Security plan, I can almost guarantee you that you will not have a dime for your retirement. If you think that the ENRON fallout was a disastrous U. S. event, -- and that the 'big wigs' who profited in that scandal were devious criminalistic rats, ... what's going to happen (if things continue as they have been) with the federal Social Security programs and our "trustworthy elected & appointed government officials" is going to be like the Enron scandal magnified 1,000 times. There is NO MONEY in the federal Social Security programs, -- just a lot of DEBT, ( MORE money owed to the Federal Reserve Bank owners). The ONLY people who are going to suffer -- when the government decides to admit that America's Social Security programs are BANKRUPT -- are the majority of American taxpayers who have been funding these programs with their hard-earned money all these years (while expecting to receive retirement and disability funds when THEY need them). They'll be "shocked" to learn that our federal government has been giving those dollars to foreign countries for varoius reasons, and replacing the money that was there with IOU's. They'll also be shocked to learn that the money is not OWED to the taxpayers who put the funds there, -- but owed instead to the Federal Reserve Bank -- which is NOT a federally owned entity as most people believe -- but which is owned by some of the wealthiest families and/or individuals in the world. I personally don't want to be one of those people that gets caught up in a federal scandal which will be 1,000 times worse than the ENRON failure,... and which will completely wipe out any "future security" I may have for myself or my loved ones. With people like you who are teaching others about the TRUTH in regards to social security, taxes, etc. -- hopefully there will be less people affected when our federal Social Security programs fall apart at the seams. George, if the Congress of the United States, unconstitutionaly passed legislation taxing Martians, why would you get upset with the IRS if they are the agency charged with collecting income taxes from Martians or other non-resident aliens, join a state created entity called "We the People", march on Washington, talk to Congressmen about Martian taxation,and think that those who don't get involved with exposing the unconstitutionality of an income tax on the citizens of Mars are fearful or cowards? I filled a zero return in 96 and in 97 The IRs prepare a dummy return for me for 98. I didn't file in99 and 00 The IRS sent me a notice of levy for $4700 for 1997 When do you think this will stop. Everything on this website is true!!! 99% of most Americans DO NOT owe an income tax. Discover the truth yourself by reading Title 26 Internal Revenue Code and Regulations. Section 3402(p) makes it abundantly clear that the tax we have taken(stolen) from our pay each week is a Voluntary wage tax. Voluntary!!! By voluntary, i mean if you do not want the tax to come out of your check every week, you do not have to have it taken out. And you do NOT have to "pay it back" at the end of the year. Wake up America!! How any jury could rule against a fellow citizen for failing to file an income tax return for a tax that doesnt even exist for 99% of Americans is totally beyond belief. It is just plain pathetic!! America really is turning into a nation of dumbed-down idiots who cannot think for themselves. People, take the time out to really read and understand the law instead of believing everything you're told by the federal reserve(the government). My husband and I have been educated for the past 5 years now about the INCOME tax truth and lies. What freedoms are we willing to give up before we wake up?????? My mother has been seeking the truth since 1976 and when she found it she shared it with everyone. She was a bank exectutive in southern California when she refused to be a volunteer government employee and spy on her bank customers (yes you are all being watched and tracked by that wonderful SSN). She battled with the regulators and when they saw that they were losing the regulators threatened and lied to the uneducated board of directors who then fired my Mother and 4 other educated employees. she hasn't been paid for her last month of employment and she hasn't received her ESOP or 401K either. They have stollen it and given it to the IRS illegally!!! The was no court order to do anything that they did!!!!!! She is now on a mission to educate everyone she comes in contact with. As for these peaople who say we're militia and psyco's, they're obviously dumbed down from the lack of education I here in there tone. We are not for killing or hurting anyone for the better of the people, the government does that on it's own. We do pay taxes everytime we fill up our cars with gas (that's how we pay for the roads), everytime we shop (salestax), twice a year we pay property tax (this pays for schools which we don't use, fire dept, police,libraries,parks,city officials etc.) and many hidden taxes. So to you uneducated jerks, learn how to think for yourself instead of being brainwashed by government paid teachers who only teach what the government approves and come back to this site and read it again!!! (I'll give you a hint it's about INCOME tax and SOCIAL SECURITY tax!:-)

Well, here it is - the truth. As Ripley said, you can believe it - or not. The REASON the income tax does not apply to Citizens within the 50 States is because the founders left this country with a DEBT FREE CURRENCY - that is - Gold and Silver. Gold and Silver is CREATED AND ISSUED BY GOD. Man mints it into coins to use AS money. Well, since 1933 and the Great American Gold Robbery foisted on the American Public by Banker Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the Gold and Silver were made ILLEGAL for CITIZENS OF FEDERAL TERRITORIES to own. The Bait and Switch for the Government to collect Gold and Silver from AMERICANS WITHIN the 50 states was to draft the legislation in such a way as to make them THINK the LAW APPLIED TO THEM. I've read the legislation and I assure you this is correct. Citizens of the United States were FOOLED INTO BELIEVING they had to turn their gold into the banks to 'sure up' the currency. Needless to say, you can read the FORMAL CHARGES OF TREASON submitted to the JUDICIARY by CONGRESSMAN LOUIS T. MCFadden by going to http://www.registeredvoteronline.com/mcfadden2.asp and reading the full TESTIMONY HE GAVE BEFORE THE HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE. Now, this is NOT a CONSPRIRACY THEORY. IT IS FORMAL CHARGES OF TREASON THAT WERE TABLED FOR LATER DISCUSSION by the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE. THE CHARGES HAVE YET TO BE ACTED UPON AND HAVE BEEN TABLED SINCE 1933. The reason WE DON'T OWE AN INCOME TAX IS BECAUSE THERE IS NO NEED TO TAX IF YOUR CURRENCY IS DEBT FREE WHEN ISSUED - like Gold and Silver, and also paper money like the GREENBACKS ABRAHAM LINCOLN ISSUED DURING THE CIVIL WAR AND LIKE THE "CONTINENTALS" THAT BENJAMIN FRANKLIN ISSUED TO HELP NEW ENGLAND HAVE MONEY FOR COMMERCE, since the BANK OF ENGLAND was taking much of the Gold and Silver from the Colonies to fund ENGLAND'S WAR WITH FRANCE. So much Gold and Silver left the colonies, they were without money. Ben Franklin created CONTINENTALS to solve the problem. When the Bank of England found out about this, they made parliament outlaw its use. Then they began to levvy taxes - BUT WE HAD NOTHING TO USE AS MONEY TO PAY THE TAXES. WE WERE IN A NO WIN SITUATION. THIS LED TO THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION and the rest is HISTORY. Our money IS STILL GOLD AND SILVER to this day, as those laws HAVE NOT BEEN REPEALED. Anyone familiar with the way our current money is created knows that the Federal Reserve CREATES ALL THEIR 'BANK NOTES' out of NOTHING - THEN LOANS IT TO CONGRESS WHO MUST DIRECTLY TAX THE CITIZENS to REPAY the loan. THE PROBLEM IS THE NATIONAL DEBT IS SO BIG NOW, THAT THE PRINCIPAL IS HARDLY EVER TOUCHED, and the INTEREST MONEY IS NEVER CREATED - THUS THE DEBT IS UNPAYABLE and is PERPETUAL, since the FEDERAL RESERVE NOW HOLDS MONOPOLY POWER OVER WHAT IS USED AS LEGAL TENDER IN THE UNITED STATES. If you were made to be FORCED to pay the debt - YOU WOULD BE A SLAVE and SLAVERY is UNLAWFUL according to the 13th Amendment of the Constituton of the united States. Live Long, and Be Free.

All of the information that you provide is great, however, the issue of the income tax is still simply the intent of the lawmaker, and that is the Congressional Record whereby the congress, the lawmaker, has repeatedly stated, prior to the enactment of the 16th amendment, that "doing business" was the subject of the income tax, and therefore, the income that is derived from the 'gain or profit' that is realized from "doing business" is the object of the income tax, and the Eisner v Macomber, 252 US 189, 1921, Supreme court opinion verifies that fact; the infernal revenue disservice and all of the regulations, notwithstanding!

I just got a responce from the 2000 Irwin Schiff Zero Return I did!!! Of course I had already decited to not file this year at all, as they never do anything other then to sent those stupit papers they sent to all Schiff filers. So I won't even bother filing this year. I didn't file in '99, and they don't know the difference!!!!

Hello everyone, I have been studying the Department Of Justice website under withholding acceptance/exemption certificates,numerous protester arguments and much more information available. Their website is www.doj.gov/tax/readingroom/criminal/taxc40.htm. Basically their position is that no matter what you say YOU ARE WRONG. So much for the Department Of Justice. They say that the courts consistently uphold their decisions on these matters and that they routinly reject protester arguments. The Department Of Justice even said that you HAVE to file a reurn if your income exceeds a certain amount and they even have the balls to say that filing an income tax return is mandatory and not voluntary.

Hi everyone, I have tried to no avail to convince all employers that there was no law in the 26 IRC book that showed American citizens had to have taxes withheld from there domestic pay. They basically pass up,not call or even attempt to interview you if you do not put the SSN# down on the job application. It is very hard to deal with this ignorance from so many uneducated employers. My current job with Mc Donalds is one of these types of situations where they take so much of my earnings away from me i can't survive. Yes,i had to fill out a W-4 with my own hand and signature but it ultimatly was without my consent. I was forced to do this even though i have studied the laws for six years now and still am having a hard time with employers. It only looks like i am voluntarily submitting a W-4. It is not what i want to to. They call the Statement of US citizenship propanganda and yet in my heart i know that the fellowship and Mr. Gordon Phillips are right in everything they are doing in educating the public. Someday soon, i hope i will be able to join the fellowship and kick the employer's butt legally and properly and stop being abused by their stupidity.Sincerely, A concerned closet patriot. Hi Gordon, I'm on your mailing list and have been forwarding your newsletters to as many people as possible. I think a future newsletter on "taxation through inflation" and "government spending destroys wealth" from an Austrian economics perspective would be paradigm shifting for others if you haven't already covered the topic. These irrefutable concepts are exremely easy to demonstrate and can be grasped by almost anyone. There is a plethora of essays, articles, and other information on the auburn.edu website under the Ludwig von Mises institute of economics, but here's a quick rundown of the concept. If there is a total of $1000 in an economy, and a central bank suddenly creates another $1000 of fiat money by drawing a check on no bank deposit, the purchasing power of the original $1000 is cut in half by the time the full effect of the the monetary injection is realized. In actuality, the lion's share of the wealth expropriation is borne by foreign countries often as our economic administrations export inflation by literally exchanging paper (Federal Reserve notes) for the real output of countries with softer fiat currencies (watch the US inflation rate after the first real competition in this enterprise in years debuts--the physical euro). Also note that inflation was historically defined as an increase in the money supply when economies were still on a gold standard. Since the implementation of the Keynesian conspiracy during FDR's term, it's been conveniently changed to a general rise in prices. There was over 50% deflation on general commodities between 1872 and 1900!! The fiscal policy means to wealth expropriation, government spending, actually destroys wealth when the funds arise from the Fed's monetarization of government debt because anytime that consumption is not preceded by production, wealth is destroyed (when the government taxes and spends, it's just stealing the wealth and redistributing it). Here's another simple example: on a single person island economy where production consists of coconut picking, this individual cannot consume more coconuts than he picks. When you start adding more people, you can easily see that consuming more wealth (coconuts) than you have produced must destroy the wealth (coconuts) of someone else. These concepts are far from original, and the tried and true Austrian (aka classical) perspective has been forcefully suppressed in favor of economic "theories" (conspiracies) that keep the masses blind to the subversive agendas of the establishment. Gordon, I believe that you might review paragraph #10. The Pollock court held the issues before the court to be unconstitutional. The court had distinguished the issues before the court as being tax laid on capital (income from rental units and dividends from bonds) which the court distinguished from an issues of an income tax laid on wages/salaries/employment. An issue of a tax on wages/salaries was not before the court for adjudication, however, since the court found the issue of a tax on capital unconstitutional, the burden of the tax would then fall on salaries/wages which was not the (preceived) intent of congress. The entire tax program was therefore ruled INVALID, but not unconstitutional. A more significient point is that a fundamental requirement of due process is ignored by the IRS: the IRS does not plead any "law of the land" that authorizes an income tax. Doesn't that invalidate any claim to jurisdiction?? (You might see Yahooegroup Legality of the Income tax #11895 for an extensive documentation. Constitutionally yours, Jim Carter

I read your comments about the IRS and I noticed the logo for Americans for Fair Taxation which I support. They have sponsored a bill in Congress known as the Fair Tax Bill(HR 2525), which would completely eliminate the IRS and establish a consumption tax. I feel as from what I read on your website the same negative feelings about the IRS. I consider them America's Gestapo. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that after WWII, the former Nazi's who weren't tried for war crimes and were asked to work for the US, didn't train workers for the IRS in Gestapo like tactics. I have always felt that the IRS was unconstitutionally wrong. Why should American citizens be their own CPA's for the government?

Sorry - I didn't run the spell check the first time (how irritating) In the wake of our country's current disaster, I would just like to comment on the article posted by NewsHawk� Inc. blasting the Delta Force for their involvement in the Waco "holocaust." This article seems to absolve the Branch Davidians from any responsibility for their actions. The Branch Davidians volatile internal terrorist group who were dispatched by all means necessary. I can only imagine that this saved innocent lives. If you don't want trouble, don't build compounds, hoard weapons and talk about the end of the world. You will attract attention. And you will probably get killed if you don't comply with the demands of law enforcement to lay down your arms. Unfortunately there were innocent "Sheep" who had been led astray by the idiot David Koresh and were therefore place in harms way by his hand. This is terribly sad and unfortunate. I think arguing about how this situation was handled by law enforcement is missing the mark. This group was unstable and unwilling to comply. They dug their own graves.

15 years of research. The intent of the lawmaker constitutes the law. The cong rec states that "doing business" is the subject of the income tax, and the income derived from "gain or profit" is the object of the tax. The Brushaber court opinioned that no new taxing power had been granted, therefore, the tax is not generic but statutory, and the prohibition against direct taxation still holds! The Eisner court opinioned that income is "gain or profit" so why do 80% volunteer? They don't know, and they don't know that they don't know!

Not the cheap, superficial, mockery that is referred to as 'civility' or 'unity' in Washington DC today; no, the civility and grace of those that together united to make America a great nation. It is very sad to look back in time through the writings of Davey Crockett provided on your website and not mourn for such a time when authenticity mattered. And I believe that Americans, in the main, seek this authenticity and crave unity and reason image and impulse. The best station in the U.S. I'll spread the word, but isn't it interesting how nobody knows anything about their constitution? It's like it doesn't even exist. Here in Fort Morgan I listen to a scanner and it becomes ridicules at times when people get stopped - one after another - and all IDs are reviewed who has been riding in their car. ATTENTION!!!! Now you can put pressure on your congressman to repeal the 16th amendment!! Here is how...May 2, 2001 Dear liberty activist, A citizen can verbally oppose the federal income tax or he can take action to abolish it. The constitutional amendment (H.J. Res. 41) that would have made it more difficult to raise federal taxes by increasing the majority requirement from a simple majority to a 2/3 majority, failed to pass on Wednesday, 4/25/01. There were 232 votes in favor, 189 votes against, with 11 members not voting. (A 2/3 majority was required to pass H.J. Res. 41.) Our fight to lower taxes, however, is just beginning. Shortly after H.J. Res. 41 failed to pass, another constitutional amendment was introduced: H.J. Res. 45 - The Liberty Amendment. This amendment was introduced by Congressman Ron Paul (Texas). The Liberty Amendment would repeal the Sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution, thus eliminating the federal income tax. In addition, it would eliminate federal capital gains and estate taxes. Now that's real tax relief! H.J. Res. 45 - The Liberty Amendment would also prohibit the federal government from engaging in any business activity that competes with private businesses (except as provided by the Constitution) and require the federal government to sell properties that were used in those business activities. Is eliminating the federal income tax impossible? No. Millions of Americans still believe in liberty. They, therefore, question the validity of the federal tax code, the I.R.S. and the Sixteenth Amendment itself. They understand that the federal leviathan is out of control. The Liberty Amendment can serve as a flashpoint for all of these millions of voices. The Liberty Amendment is not an academic exercise. It is not a political statement or an abstract ideal. It is real legislation before the U.S. House of Representatives now. It can become law. It will become law if every liberty-minded American tells his U.S. representative that his re-election will depend on his support of the Liberty Amendment. Please urge your U.S. representative to support real tax relief by cosponsoring the Liberty Amendment and working for its passage. I finally have some information to back me up that the income tax is illegal. A person I work with says that "the income tax is legal because of the constitutional amendment that made it legal," which of course, makes the IRS legal.

the irs shows discrimation as we fill out 1040's for them, when they should inform us that we must fill out a form 2555 to be atached to it, they want the 1040 for records, and you pay the differance fillout a 2555 you pay nothing,the zero return. if they refuse to accept then they can be held for discrimation, the states in the union are foreign to d.c. just like france or germany, don't let them fool you anymore cause they only benifit from it.

I have been informed of this nonliability in 1994, I have stoped sending in 1040 forms. I requested to the IRS am I Liable but never got an answer. After 6 years they have sent a request for information and in the same envulope had put an Intent to Levy and Lien. I responded with a letter of Refusel With Out Dishoner. The IRS Revenue Officer did not repley but put the levy on my compinsation for laber anyway.I truely believe tha the IRS is and has unlawfuly preformed this act against me.I to have resurched the codes and regs:of the IRS and can NOT find the LAW that requires me to file. I am trying to gain information as to what I can do to stop the IRS and if it can be done without haveing to follow there codes and regs: Please sign me up for your news letter. Always remember when dealing with the I.R.S. make sure that you have a tape recorder with you. This will be a great help when you might visit the I.R.S. office in your area. Make sure that you get the agents full name and badge ##. If at all possible have a few witnesses with you.This should protect you from the lies that you might hear. Bring a copy of title 26 U.S.C. with you.In case the I.R.S. says that they can't find it at this time. Then show them yours.If they ask you to turn off the tape recorder ask why what are you scared of??? You ask the questions.Do not let the agents back you into a corner. You must back them into the corner.If this does not work leave the office and tell them to have a nice day.

To bet against your information would be a bad bet. Is there a recorded won/lost record of your students? Is there any legal analysis of the won/lost cases and their status? With regard to a "Certificate of Withholding" and Social Security. I am in a battle with the IRS over the failure of SSA to withhold causing me to have problems on April 15th. I claim it is their (SSA) responsibility to have informed me of my right to elect or reject when I first went on SS. No one will admit to anything except to a form W-4V which you have to get from the IRS. How can I make my point that it is the SSA's responsibility to issue and obtain the so called "Certificate of Withholding"? Also does Sec. 3403 require SSA to make withholding payments without a "Certificate"?

the truth is no one is reguired to pay the extortion tax, it is truly voluntary since in the 1040 booklet in the privacy act notice ,it clearly states its authority to ask you for information is controlled by these code sec's which are, 6001-6011-&-6012, which if you read them it states that you only need comply with the reg's promugated by the secretary, and when you read those reg's it shows that they only apply to, alchohol, tobacco, and firearms activites so what the privacy-act notice in your 1040 booklet is realy saying is that the goverements right to ask for that info, is only required if your engaged in those activites, and not income tax activites,listed under-subtitle-A, instead of sub-title-e, which deals with atf-activites, also it states you are only reguired to pay the tax for which you are liable for, and since no-where is anybody made liable for the income-tax-under subtitle-a in the internal-revenue code,wolla! no is reguired to pay,these are just a couple of reasons why americans do not have to pay the extorition-tax, known as the income tax,let alone a host of other reasons why you dont have to, therefore i submit to all redblooded constituition-loveing americans, and all-income-tax, educateing web sites like this that it is now time for all of us with different opinions, to lay-aside our differences for the imediate time being and consentrate on one thing and one thing only,to stage mass-demonstrations, just like we used in the vietnam war! to bring this issue to the front news, remember those marches helped end the war! with the same strateigy, we can do it again with one simple protest march-theme, show-us the law! thats all we need folks once! mass marches begin, it will spred verry quickly, just like back dureing the vietnam era!this is the only way folks! for so long as we continue to be fractionalized, and at each others throats, over who has the best and most accurate way to do things, then the goverement and the I.R.S.and the international-bankers( fed-reserve) will have nothing to fear from us,and that is why this evil has been so long with us,lay down our ego's and lets pull together for the sake of freedom for all, otherwise just as our for-fathers stated,if we dont win this war, then surely! we will either hang! seperately or we will hang! together, but we will hang! so if you can and i know this is asking a-lot! come to las-vegas for the april-15th tax march, lets provide a demonstrations that the news services cannot overlook,for once we become organized and become a political-force which is what the goverement prays will never happen! then the rest of the country will jump on board as well! because that is the one thing that really scares the bejesus out of the goverement and the I.R.S. and the fed-reserve,because that is something that they cannot controll or hide from! so if your willing to layaside your prejudices, then keep tuned to the radio show at www.paynomoreincometax.com, and i am not trying to plug for erwin schiff or anybody else, its just happens that i live here in las-vegas and he has a nationwide and loacal-radio show,so stay tuned for more info on this tax-march, because it has to begin somewhere,and i just want you all to think about this verry seriously, what would happen if we could start mass demonstrations just like back in the vietnam-era,the goverement and the I.R.S. would have or be forced to cave in and that is the ultimate goal-i hope for all of us! but with this continuing bickering going on between all the tax-groups out there all your realling doing is makeing our enemy happy, and please remember, who the enemy really is!...thank you! a fellow patriot! who knows what really works when it comes to bringing something to the forefront of public opinion,remember! it worked with viet-nam!

I HAVE read the code, and you are right, NO ONE is subject to an Income Tax if they are naturally born in one of the 50 states and earn their income INSIDE the US (one of the 50 States). I can't stand it when the MEDIA JUST DOES NOT REPORT THE PLAIN TRUTH....CAN'T THEY BE SUED FOR THIS? There is also NO LAW that requires a Natural Born Citizen of the US to obtain a "Socialism Security Card" either, nor do you need one to work, vote, buy a gun, drive or any other thing other than GETTING "SOCIALISM SECURITY BENEFITS" OR "GOVMINT WELFARE". Don't believe the media, READ THE DAMN LAW FOR YOURSELVES!

My father passed away suddenly at age of 56 (well, one month shy). He had worked since he was 16, paying taxes and Social Security. Guess what?! What he paid into Social Security my mom can't get until she is age 65 and meets the requirements! He paid tens of thousands into Social Security! What good does it do?

I very much enjoy your site. This information is not new to me but living free is in my opinion only for those who are wealthy enough to do it. I have to have a JOB (just over broke)but really do not have a way to instruct them to pay me without taxing my check. We started out with me being an independant contractor and paid in full with the responsibility on my shoulders having to do with the IRS. I was willing that if I were attacked that I would get in touch with your services or Lindsey Springer, Bondage Breakers Ministries, but someone at work informed the Dept. of Labor and Wages and the owners of the company I work for got scared and started taking out taxes. I wish there was a way I could afford to pay for a service to get the Dept of L and W off my employers back. I realize there are no silver bullets but how can just an every day citizen who loves her job and the people she works for also maintain her freedom to labor and be paid in full?
