STUDY GROUPS

Study Group on the Weaponization of Space
Project Directors: Richard L. Garwin and Bruce M. DeBlois

This Study Group brings together a diverse array of expert individuals from the aerospace and policy community for constructive debate about the advantages and disadvantages of weaponizing space. Informed by the Study Group’s debate, Project Directors Richard Garwin and Bruce DeBlois are crafting a balanced policy recommendation for future U.S. space policy, including alternative ways to satisfy U.S. national interests with or without the deployment of weapons in space.
