PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers announced today that they have released forwards Rees Bettinger and Noah Delgado.

Bettinger played 144 minutes over five matches for the Timbers this season. Delgado played 215 minutes over five matches.

"Releasing players is never easy and is always made much more difficult when the players are first-class people like Rees and Noah," said Timbers general manager Jim Taylor. "We appreciate the contributions they made to the club, both on and off the field, and wish them all the best for the future."

The moves bring the Timbers roster to 18 players.
