Seneca Wallace is garnering more Heisman attention nationally as the 2002 season approaches. 7/31/02
ISU's Wallace for Heisman?
In a spoof of Oregon's Heisman Trophy campaign for Joey Harrington last year, Iowa State officials have produced fliers with touched-up photos showing a banner of Wallace hanging from famous world landmarks. "Pretty crazy," Wallace said. Maybe. Pretty funny, too. And it shows how highly Iowa State officials rate their senior quarterback.
Psst! Keep an eye on ISU's Wallace
Last year it was the image of Oregon quarterback Joey Harrington plastered on the side of a building in New York City. This year, it's a huge banner of Iowa State's Seneca Wallace draped from the Eiffel Tower. Well, not really. Digital imaging can do amazingly realistic things.

Just What the Doctor Ordered
The new best quarterback in the Big 12 is not a quote machine. Gone are the days when reporters would practically have to cut off Nebraska's chatty Heisman winner Eric Crouch in order to make deadline. In fact in private moments, Iowa State's Seneca Wallace has deep, soul-searching conversations with -- himself.
Seneca in the Spotlight
Iowa State's Seneca Wallace is the most underrated and under mentioned player in the Big XII, and it is really not even close. It is unfortunate that the likes of Chris Simms, Kliff Kingsbury, Craig Ochs, and Jason White may have completely ruined any chance of Seneca receiving the attention he deserves. Although slightly undersized at 6' 1" and 190 pounds, Wallace can run and throw with the best of the conference.
