Tat's the Way Mac Heads Like It

There's a clever hoax on the Web purporting to be the site of an advertising firm looking for people to become human billboards by getting corporate tattoos.

The site is called Tadoos, and it has fooled dozens of Web surfers and at least one newspaper. But like all good hoaxes, it contains a nugget of truth.

There are, for example, dozens of people sporting tattoos of Apple Computer's corporate logo.

But none of them was paid to do it.
