2/4/2001 DC United completed a wild weekend of trades. They sent US National team defender Jeff Agoos to San Jose for forward Abdul Thompsen Conteh and 2 2001 first round picks (#8 and #10). DC also sent US National team defender Carlos Llamosa to Miami for Brian Kamler and a first round pick (#4). In addition, DC sent US National team midfielder Richie Williams, an allocation and their #26 overall pick to the MetroStars for goalkeeper Mike Amman and their #15 pick.
