2nd and 3rd to be fought by Jacobsen and Rees

The final round of the 1999 F2/F3 National Series will conclude round at Phillip Island this weekend.
Despite that Paul Stephenson (Titan Dallara F395 Toyota)) wrapped up the Series at Calder Park in the last round 2nd and 3rd places are still up for grabs. It most likely will be fought out between Chas Jacobsen (CVA Dallara F396 Toyota) on 114 points and Peter Rees (Reynard 923 Honda) on 92 points.

The F2 Division will go down to the wire with Graham Blee (GTS Reynard 923) on 129 points holding a 15 point lead over Melbourne Accountant Rod Anderson (Hack Anderson Thomas Reynard 893), 114 points. Sydney racer, Ian Black is back in 3rd spot on 87 points.

In the Sportsmanísí Division (for older aluminium chassis) Bill Maddocks has sewn up the Division but 2nd place can be had by Geelong Engineer Tony Boot in his Ralt RT.30. He is equal on points with Newcastle driver Kevin Lewis (80 points), however, Lewis will be missing from the Island round.

The categories Annual Presentation Dinner will be held on the Saturday night.
